These task cards enable students to encounter math in a meaningful way and transfer their math skills from the concrete to the abstract. These task cards are highly conceptual and contain 52 math questions in ALL!! (Multiple Choice, Multiple Select, Unknown Answer, Short Answer, Fill in the blank). Enough questions and question types to provide purposeful differentiation for all levels of learning

Math Task Cards aligned to Common Core Math Standard:

4.MD.3: Know and apply the area and perimeter formulas for rectangles in real world and mathematical problems.

  1. Students will be able to apply the area and perimeter formulas in real world and mathematical problems.
  2. Students will be able to find the missing length or width when given the area or perimeter of a rectangle.
  3. Students will be able to find areas and perimeters of rectilinear figures when dimensions are not provide and will be able to identify the missing dimensions through problem solving.

When Can I use Task Cards? They can be used to introduce, reinforce, remediation, or enrich math skills!
