This printable journal with 24 seasonal topics is a perfect addition to your writing curriculum or work on writing center. Looking at a big blank piece of paper can be really intimidating to a young writer. Print as few or as many pages as you'd like then staple together and you're set for the month! You can also print one topic at a time instead of using as a journal. Also included are colorful task cards with the same topics which provide great oral discussion prompts when you have a few minutes to fill in your schedule. Consider using the task cards to start an oral discussion before students write to help them brainstorm ideas.
