- 4 interactive notebook pages in which students are given 2-digit by 1-digit multiplication expressions to create area models and solve. There are 3 problems per page. That is a total of 12 problems.
- 4 interactive notebook pages in which students are given 2-digit by 2-digit multiplication expressions to create area models and solve. There are 3 problems per page. That is a total of 12 problems.
- 3 interactive notebook pages in which students are given 3-digit by 2-digit multiplication expressions to create area models and solve. There are 3 problems per page. That is a total of 9 problems.
- 2 interactive notebook pages in which students are given word problems to solve. One page is all 2 digit by 2 digit multiplication and the other is 3 digit by 2 digit multiplication.
- Answer keys for all problems demonstrating correct use of the area model to solve.
- Work mats have the step-by-step checklist for each problem to ensure they are using proper steps. You may choose to have them use this or not. Work mats also have empty box templates for the area model they need already constructed. They are not labeled.
If you choose that the work mats do not suite your needs or preference, they are 100% optional. If you would prefer your students construct their own area models, do not print those pages. They can glue the problems directly onto their paper without a work mat and use the lined pages in their notebooks to create their own area models for solving.
