In each game, students are tasked to find the area of a figure on the board, either a rectangle, triangle, or irregular polygon, while competing against a partner to takeover the majority of the game board. Each game board is split into a number of different figures, each containing information to help students find the area. Students go back and forth finding the area of different triangles on the board, "claiming" the space as they go. At the end, they find the total area of their claimed spaces, and the students with the greater total area wins!
