Description
If you have ever played war with a deck of cards then you know the concept of this game. The only difference is that this game helps your students practice finding the Area of a Rectangle or Square. This can easily be made into a folder game. This is also great to use as perimeter war also! Great as a math center!
REVISED May 2015: I have had many suggestions to have smaller cards. This product now includes the original large cards along with smaller cards. This way you can choose which version you prefer to print.
Correlates with Common Core Standards for 4th Grade:
4.MD.3 Apply the area and perimeter formulas for rectangles in real world and mathematical problems.
Check out Area Scoot also!
