The cards are color coded and labeled level 1, 2, or 3 to meet your students' needs whether they are on-, below-, or above-level as follows:
- Level 1 - Write 2 equations to solve an area word problem; or find the area for 2-step word problems.
- Level 2 - Compare the areas of 2 rectangles in a word problem; or find the missing side length given the total area in a word problem.
- Level 3 - Solve multi-step area word problems.
Great to use for math centers, math workshop, small groups, RTI intervention, independent or partner practice, and early finishers.
