Area and Perimeter Task Cards has 4 different types of task cards.

The 1st set has 18 printable task cards that display a shape with 2 dimensions. Students calculate the area and perimeter of each shape.

The 2nd set has 18 printable task cards with a missing number. Students find the missing length or width.

The 3rd set has 18 printable task cards that students count the square units and record the area and perimeter of each one.

The 4th set has 18 printable task cards that students count the square units and record the area and perimeter of each one.

I uploaded these task cards into Google Forms making 14 self grading quizzes. Each quiz has 9 questions. The students choose from a multi-choice board to find the area or perimeter of a shape. Copy the links into your Google Classroom and assign them to students. These forms are great for classrooms that are going paperless.

These task cards are perfect for beginners and those needing practice. This pack includes many ways to support your area and perimeter unit. Check out the preview to see the task cards only.

Apply the area and perimeter formulas for rectangles in real world and mathematical problems. For example, find the width of a rectangular room given the area of the flooring and the length, by viewing the area formula as a multiplication equation with an unknown factor.
Solve real world and mathematical problems involving perimeters of polygons, including finding the perimeter given the side lengths, finding an unknown side length, and exhibiting rectangles with the same perimeter and different areas or with the same area and different perimeters.
Find the area of a rectangle with whole-number side lengths by tiling it, and show that the area is the same as would be found by multiplying the side lengths.
