Description
What the material contains
The material includes a set of 14 math resources with examples of arithmetic of natural numbers, decimal numbers, integers, rational numbers, fractions, up to powers and square roots at a promotional price.
The materials are compressed into a ZIP folder.
Each resource contains:
• an introductory sheet,
• problem sets (260 problems in 26 columns from A to Z),
• an enlarged version of the problems for all columns,
• solutions (results).
All materials together amount to 609 pages and 3640 problems with solutions.
The set contains the following resources:
- Arithmetic up to 100
- Arithmetic up to 1000
- Arithmetic up to 10,000
- Arithmetic up to a million
- Arithmetic of decimal numbers
- Arithmetic of fractions
- Arithmetic of integers
- Arithmetic of positive and negative decimal numbers
- Arithmetic of positive and negative fractions
- Arithmetic of rational numbers
- Arithmetic of squares
- Arithmetic of squares and square roots
- Arithmetic of square roots
- Arithmetic of cubes
For whom this document is intended
This document is specifically aimed at the following groups:
• for teachers in teaching,
• for tutors in teaching,
• for students for practice.
How to work with the material
In some mathematical topics, I encountered the problem of not having enough examples for students to fully master the subject. With this sheet, this will no longer happen. Additionally, I had to enlarge the document in some cases. In this document, you will find enough examples that you can use in various ways:
- Worksheet. Some students can handle more columns, usually three columns per hour, and the more advanced ones can do six or even nine columns. Sometimes a column can also be used for review if you feel that students have not fully mastered the arithmetic of integers.
- Written work. One column can be used as a ten-minute test in mathematics.
- Homework. The columns can also be used as homework.
- Review. A quick review of previous material with just one column, either from the last lesson or from the previous school year.
