Check out this new and engaging activity for Arithmetic Sequences and Series. Students are going to love working to break the code in this Vault Hack self checking activity as they find sums of sequences and series, find the nth term, and write explicit formulas.
There are three versions of the activity.
⭐ Version 1: Digital Vault Hack
In this no-prep, self-checking digital activity, students will choose questions in any order from a drop down menu. Each correctly answered question earns them a clue to help them discover the combination to hack into the vault! If a question is answered wrong, their answer turns red to let them know they should try again.
This is a google sheet activity. A link in the pdf download will allow you to make your own copy of the activity to add to google drive.
⭐ Version 2: Task Cards
The same 10 questions from the vault hack activity are available as printable task cards. These are great for working on their desks individually or with a partner/group or you can tape them around the room to get students up and moving.
⭐ Version 3: Worksheet
The same 10 questions from the vault hack in a traditional worksheet format.
