Looking for a self-checking activity that helps students practice their skills of arithmetic and geometric sequences? This set of 30 task cards will have students identifying common differences, common ratios, the next term(s), recursive and explicit formulas, and specific terms of the sequence.

Each of the 30 task cards has a sequence on it with directions about what to find for the sequence.

The first 15 cards are arithmetic sequences, and the second 15 cards are geometric sequences.

Students will answer each problem on the task card. Then they will find their answer on their answer sheet. They will then draw the corresponding picture from the task card next to their answer on the answer sheet. Students will immediately know if the answer they found is correct.

This is a great way to review the sequence types together or can easily be split in half to only look at one type of sequence.
