This exciting activity challenges students to navigate their way around Arizona in an effort to collect as many eggs as possible. The activity comes with simple instructions, a PowerPoint, a map, a student record sheet and a sample answer. After a short teacher explanation, students will be able to work independently on this activity.

Usually some students will begin to arrive at a first answer within a 1 hour lesson. By the end of a second lesson, all students should have one answer and most will have a second answer. A third lesson could be used to pursue the extension activity, which is also included.

This activity is most appropriate for middle school students, but upper elementary and lower high school may also enjoy the activity.
