Description

Practice creating arrays with your students! In my 2nd grade classroom, we learn about arrays in order to build a foundation for multiplication. Students will practice writing equations with repeated addition, and drawing a visual of the equal groups. Students will practice understanding that an array has repeated addition, and equal groups.

You can edit this document if you'd like to write more equations for your students, before they write their own. It is easy to scaffold their learning towards independency in this way!
