Description

Are you like me and need an easy way to keep track of student progress? I realized that I need to make my own comprehensive program that allowed me to easily chart a student's progress on their targeted sounds. Thus, I created this articulation progress monitoring program. Within the program, I have a single page of 30 pictures (10 initial, 10 medial, 10 final) for each of the following sounds: R,L,S,Z,SH,CH,TH,J,F,V,K,G. I recommend either laminating the colored pictures, or I actually placed them in a binder with sheet protectors. I have also included one page for blends (10 pictures for /r/ blends, 10 pictures for /l/ blends, 10 pictures for /s/ blends). Then, a sheet with graphs for the initial/medial/final sounds is included, along with a graph that shows what a percentage would be if combining all 30 sounds. Let's face it, I can't do that much math in my head. I have been using these charts 1-2 times per trimester to monitor where my students are at. Because my district has been so big on student's monitoring their own growth, I also created a chart for students to monitor their own progress. This chart allows for a bar graph that the students can color in their own progress. Students can keep track of multiple sounds by using different crayon colors (i.e. red - /l/, blue - /s/, green - /th/). Have fun with this easy, affordable progress monitoring program!

This is great for progress monitoring sounds. It would be great if the r sounds were broken down into the different vocalic r sounds.
