Description

This Articulation Word Search Puzzle can be used to encourage the use of the R & R Blend sounds at the word, phrase, and sentence level for clients ages 8 (3rd grade) and up.

It comes with 3 puzzles for each sound position (initial, medial, final, and blends when applicable).

Puzzles come with words 1-4 syllables long which provides a variety of difficulty levels for articulation practice while simultaneously exposing clients to new vocabulary.

Each puzzle is in a 14 x 15 grid, and has 20 words to find (with the exception of Final Voiced TH). All words in the puzzles are horizontal, vertical, and diagonal but do not include backward words.

This makes finding target words easier, increases success, and allows the client to spend more time practicing their target sound(s) vs. searching for words. Puzzles have a score counter in the bottom right hand corner to allow for easy data tracking.

The large print letters and icons make it easy to quickly find the right sound and position.

The puzzles allow therapists or caregivers to specify how many times a client should produce a target word after finding it and then challenges the client to say the word in a sentence afterward.

Additionally, these puzzles help to improve spelling ability, letter recognition, concentration, and visual acuity...all while being fun, entertaining, and great articulation practice.

They are perfect for individual and group practice in the therapy room or on the go.

The description says, "It comes with 3 puzzles for each sound position (initial, medial, final, and blends when applicable)" but it's really the same puzzle for each position that is copied 3 times in the workbook. If I wanted 3 copies of the same puzzle I'll do so myself on my printer. Saying that each sound position has 3 puzzles implies there are different puzzles. I'm purchasing this resource to have the variety. Otherwise I'd use one of the internet websites and design my own to reproduce as many times as I wanted.Very disappointing.

Hi Leyat, Thank you for your order. I'm sorry for any confusion and am afraid you are incorrect. Each of the puzzles for initial, medial, final, and blend sounds are unique. I double checked my own files (the ones I uploaded here on TPT) to make sure and the puzzles are all unique. I did find that the 2nd and 3rd initial SK puzzles appear to be the same (the first word down from the top left corner on both puzzles is "schedule") but when you take a closer look you will see that the puzzles are different. That was just an anomaly. I'm not sure how TPT handles this, but I am happy to send you a new version if you can show me where are you are finding duplicated puzzles. Thanks, Luke
