The Artist's Activity Pack bundle contains 20 different artists. I use this activity as an extension for my early finishers, allowing them to select an artist from the pack to create a mini-masterpiece following the artmaking prompt on the card.

However, they could also be used as a mini-lesson, sub-class or art history course. I use this with students aged 12-17.

Each artist's card contains a brief biography/key features of their work, an image of the artist, and some of their key artworks with citations, and an artmaking prompt. On the other side of the card is a literacy task where students answer a question about a specific artwork using a scaffolded word bank.

The document is very versatile and can be printed double-sided as a physical resource, digitally projected, or uploaded straight to Google Classroom etc.
