Hello Fellow Principals and Admin!

I am currently an elementary school principal in the state of Kansas. Part of our job is to track and document students who meet the state definition of “at-risk” for the purpose of accessing state and federal funding. This spreadsheet quickly allows me to track and see which students meet this and the criteria they qualify under. The color coded spreadsheet is easy to view and read.

Other applications in which I currently use this spreadsheet/data is in creating equitable class lists and in determining students who may need to be referred to the SIT (intervention) team. Passing on our 6th grader’s data to our middle school is a great way for them to see current data on their incoming students. The spreadsheet tabs can be renamed for the upcoming school year at the end of the current school year.

You are welcome to modify the spreadsheet to fit your needs, or I am happy to have you reach out by email dtackland@gmail.com and I will create a spreadsheet specific to your needs.

Thanks,
Dan Ackland
