Description
Atomic Theory Task Cards are a great way to review scientists and their models. I like to print them out, slide them into sheet protectors, and hang them out in the hallway. I have a bin of clipboards that the students use to write on.
Optional: Download the ZipGrade app and scan the papers as students are finishing. Once done, come back into the classroom and go over their most missed questions. This provides immediate feedback and allows you to reteach content as needed.
Scientists Covered: Democritus, Dalton, Thomson, Rutherford, Bohr, Chadwick
Models Covered: Atomic, Plum Pudding, Nuclear, Planetary, Quantum Mechanical
Additional Topics: Protons, Neutrons, Electrons, Nucleus, S-Orbitals, P-Orbitals
There are 30 Questions. Plan on 15-20 minutes for completing the questions. An additional 5-10 minutes to review most missed questions if desired.
Answer Sheets and Answer Key is provided.
