This product contains a complete PowerPoint lesson on atoms that takes about two 45min class periods. The topics include: basics of matter, basic anatomy of atoms, atomic number, atomic mass, and determining the name of the atom using the periodic table. While presenting the lesson, students fill in the blanks on the student notes handouts and complete the examples for each new concept. The PowerPoint presentation and the Student Notes are both completely editable if using PowerPoint. I have the latest version of PowerPoint, so I can't guarantee that all features and fonts will transfer perfectly to earlier versions of PowerPoint.
