Atoms and Their Structure
Need a resource to explain or review the basics of atomic structure? This Atoms and Their Structure product teaches and reviews the parts of an atom, their location and charges, as well as how to read the blocks on the Periodic Table of Elements. A mnemonic device chart is provided to help students find key information about atoms for fill in the table practice. Isotopes and the average atomic mass are explained as well. A practice page on filling in the electron orbitals will help students understand structure as well for the first 20 elements (3 orbitals). Two ways to model an atom are also suggested. Also provides information on quarks! A Periodic Table of Elements is provided, along with paper and digital versions of the questions. Contains answer keys for all worksheets. Text based! Created to be Easel Compatible, this product also contains links to product versions for use with the Gogle platform and the Microsoft Platform as presentation decks.
