This is a rich resource with many activities in it to use in a variety of ways, so in terms of value for money, I would recommend it. I am a retired classroom teacher now homeschooling my autistic child. I needed a resource to support my child's auditory processing skills, and hoped this one would. However, I was a bit disappointed after I purchased it to discover that I couldn't use it right away. My child is a gestalt language processor, so this resource was not appropriate for them in Kindergarten. It was too advanced. There are a lot of concepts in this packet that a child needs to already know before it can be used effectively. So, if your child isn't familiar with animals native to the African savannah, for example, some of the activities wouldn't be able to be used. There are several activities that require writing or coloring, so if your child resists those things, like mine, this wouldn't be a good match...or, you would need to adapt the activities to fit your child. The auditory discrimination activities are fun and helpful, but if your child isn't able yet to hear the end of a word or discern syllables, for example, this resource would also be too advanced. The social story is not neurodivergent friendly, so I don't recommend that. As a result, I would say that this resource is more appropriate for 3/4th grade, particularly if you're working with neurodivergent children. My child's brain is now ready for 3/4 grade material, and their brain is now also ready for all of these activities. I would recommend that the seller be more explicit in describing the contents of the product so that other potential buyers understand exactly how they can use it before purchasing it.
