Simply copy the addition and subtraction word problems & have students glue them into their math journals. They can solve each daily word problem underneath using any strategy.
It features 30 daily word problems and numberless word problems for 2nd graders that can be used for math journals and interactive notebooks.
There are four basic types of word problems found inside this resource. They are:
- Join (Addition): Result Unkown, Change Unknown, Start Unknown
- Separate (Subtraction): Result Unknown, Change Unknown, Start Unknown
- Part Part Whole: Whole Unknown, Part Unknown
- Compare: Difference Unknown, Bigger Unknown, Smaller Unknown
Each page of problem solving journal prompts is labeled with what skill is being covered and what type of problem it is.
