This is a set math stations for the months of August/ September! There are 8 easy peasy math stations in this pack. Each station comes with the common core alignment standard, materials needed, directions, templates, and printables.
Every month, you will get 8 different math stations that align to the common core standards. Each month I will focus on:

* Patterning/Sorting * Fun with Numbers
* Counting * Addition
* Subtraction * Place Value
* Measurement * Geometry

The activities in each station will change each month and will gradually increase in level of difficulty throughout the school year.

Station Activities for Aug/Sept:

1. Patterning/Sorting
* Activity: Color & Extend a Pattern

2. Fun with Numbers
* CC Alignment: K.CC.A.3 Write numbers from 0-20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects)
* Activity: Spin it! Then Write it!

3. Counting
* CC Alignment: 1.NBT.A.1 Count to 120, starting at any number less than 120.
* Activity: Start n’ Stop

4. Addition
* CC Alignment: K.OA.A.1 Represent addition and subtraction with objects, fingers, mental images, drawing, sounds, acting out situations, verbal explanations, expressions, or equations.
* Activity: Roll, Draw, And Add!

5. Subtraction
* CC Alignment: K.OA.A.1 Represent addition and subtraction with objects, fingers, mental images, drawing, sounds, acting out situations, verbal explanations, expressions, or equations.
* Activity: Knockin’ the Pins

6. Place Value
* CC Alignment: 1.NBT.B.2a 10 can be thought of as a bundle of ten ones – called a “ten”
* Activity: Bundle ‘Em Up!

7. Measurement
* CC Alignment: 1.MD.B.3 Tell and write time in hours and half-hours using analog and digital clocks.
* Activity: Time to the Hour

8. Geometry
* CC Alignment: 1.G.A.1 Distinguish between defining attributes versus non-defining attributes; build and draw shapes to possess defining attributes.
* Activity: Shape Sort
