This lapbook was designed to meet Tennessee’s 3rd Grade Social Studies Standards for the continent of Australia. However, this lapbook could be used in any upper elementary classroom. The focus of this lapbook is Australia’s history, culture, and geography. This lapbook can be made into a custom lapbook or be used with your Social Studies Interactive Notebooks. All note sheets included can be used with any textbook, article, or video. Use the materials that fit the needs of your classroom!

Very engaging way to teach my kiddos and see their learning all in one book. They loved the hands on aspect and enjoyed completing.

I really enjoyed using these to cover modern geography and culture. I would have preferred that it covered more of Oceania as well, since otherwise you lose all those islands.

We LOVED this super fun lapbook resource! I wish there were ones available for all of the other continents because my daughter had so much fun putting it together and was so proud of the end results. Great resource, however many bits of information were incorrect! The capital of Australia is Canberra not what was written in the lapbook. Also, Australia is NOT in both the northern and southern hemispheres!
