Description
This is a great card game for children who are learning about Australian animals. I have used this many times in various primary-aged ESL classes and the children find it very engaging.
To use, simply print the six A4 pages, laminate and cut out to produce twenty-four animals cards.
The information contained on the cards teaches about whether the Australian animals have fur, feathers or scales, where they live and what they eat. The game is designed to be played as a quiz and aimed at primary-aged children or those learning English.
Now included is a poster (I print this A3 for best effect) and nine student worksheets.
The animals included are: koala, kangaroo, wombat, echidna, platypus, possum, sugar glider, Tasmanian devil, flying fox, dingo, numbat, wallaby, Bilby, bandicoot
The birds included are: kookaburra, emu, cockatoo, cassory, lyrebird and pelican
The Reptiles included are: frilled lizard, blue tongue lizard, snake and crocodile
