More Imaginative Thinking ways to use the cards:
1. A fun option is to place the flashcards face down on the floor. Have children toss a beanbag onto a card. they can flip over whichever card the beanbag lands on and say the animal/word that is on the card.
2. Make a duplicate set of flashcards and play a game of memory, including the rule that they only get to keep the matching pair of cards if they can say the name of the animal/sight word written on them.
3. Learn about animal sounds by tossing the flashcards onto the floor and challenging children to find the animal that makes each sound!
