Author's Purpose Task Cards - This set includes 20 short stories task cards with multiple choice answer choices and answer key. All stories target questions that address author's purpose (PIE'ED - Persuade, Inform, Entertain, Explain, and Describe). This set can be used for small group instruction, centers, or as a game of SCOOT in your classroom to have your students practice author's purpose.
