This packet contains a basic science lesson for younger students or students with autism and other learning disabilities. The pages are meant to be laminated for longer use.
The lesson focuses on the following skills:
The student is challenged to simply match a three link food chain (quiz card included after practice)
Identify what a particular animal eats
Understand that plants are at the bottom of the food chain
Understand that plants are producers and animals are consumers
Begin to understand how plants and animals grow
Fosters conversations about how our survival is dependent on nourishment
Our existence is dependent upon the sun
Producers need sun, Co2 and water to grow
