Channel Halloween excitement into these engaging Halloween math activities, which include Halloween multiplication, Halloween division, and Halloween problem solving practice. These Halloween math activities include solving multiplication and division equations for each times table (2-12) before coloring a Halloween picture, writing their own Halloween multiplication and division math word problems based on Halloween pictures, solving 1 step and 2 step Halloween math problems using all 4 operations, and reviewing key place value math skills with an exciting Halloween math mystery activity. These Halloween math activities will keep your class engaged and excited about learning in the run up to Halloween.

All resources except the Fall math mystery come in both print and digital formats (The Fall Math Mystery does include digital teaching slides, but the activity is completed on paper).

In this resource, you will receive:

  • Fall Math Mystery - The Case of the Missing Pumpkin. Children will review 2nd grade place value and problem solving skills to figure out what happened to the Smith Family's 2 missing pumpkins. Children can also win a 'Class Treat' by working together!
  • 11 Halloween themed multiplication coloring printables (2-12 times tables)
    • Digital (Google Slides) version of the multiplication pages (in full color)

  • 11 Halloween themed division coloring printables (2-12 times tables)
    • Digital (Google Slides) version of the division pages (in full color)

  • 3 differentiated 'Write Your Own Problem' Halloween printable 12 page booklets (problem solving)
    • Digital (Google Slides) versions of each of the 3 booklets

  • 2 sets of 'Write the Room' Halloween problem solving task cards (answers within 60)
    • 1st set: 1 step problems (24 problems - multiplication & division)
    • 2nd set: 2 step problems that build on the previous 1 step problems (24 problems, all 4 operations)

  • Another 2 sets of 'Write the Room' Halloween problem solving task cards (more challenging - answers within 100)
    • 1st set: 1 step problems (24 problems, using all 4 operations)
    • 2nd set: 2 step problems that build on the previous 1 step problems (24 problems, all 4 operations)

  • Digital (Google Forms) versions of all 4 sets of task cards (these are self-grading)

To access this resource, you will need to let TPT access your Google Drive. They will make a copy of both the PDF and the GS versions of this resource and put it into your Drive. You will then be able to assign the GS version to your students. You will also be able to download the PDF version to your computer, or print it directly from Google Drive.
