These comprehension questions are for the 8th grade California IMPACT United States History & Geography by McGraw Hill Education (2019 version | ISBM: 978-0-07-675568-4) textbook. So if you use this textbook in your classroom, you'll have absolutely no prep! All items in this resource were created using Google Docs, making it editable to fit your needs.
The document is organized by titles of sections (red titles in the textbook) within each chapter. It follows the textbook and asks students questions based on each section of the lesson, so this should be easy for students to understand. Some of the comprehension questions come from the teacher edition of the textbook and some comprehension questions I created. I wanted an easy document for students to work on to check their comprehension of what we are reading.
There is a document of comprehension questions with an answer key for every lesson in every chapter:
