We know how hard students work all day on reading, writing, math, and more. We also know that fine motor skills are very important, but they can often be pushed to the side. I created these fine motor mats so students can get extra fine motor practice in a fun, easy way. Both sets come in color and black & white. Slip the mats into page protectors or laminate them for durability, so you can use them year after year.
Set 1
On the fine motor mats, students will build the uppercase or lowercase letter with building bricks (LEGOS), pipe cleaners, and Play-Doh. Students will trace and write the letter. Then students can draw a picture of something that begins with the letter. These mats are a full page.
Set 2
On the fine motor mats, students will build the uppercase or lowercase letter with building bricks (LEGOS). Then students will trace and write the letter. These mats are a half page.
The mats and task cards are great for…
* morning tubs
* literacy centers
* early finishers
* indoor recess
Happy Teaching!
