This resource provides weekly (one assignment for each subject area each week) kindergarten homework for alphabet/phonics/phonemic awareness, writing, and math. This is the entire set of homework merged at a discounted rate! A description of each subject area:
Math
The Kindergarten Math Homework includes one assignment for each week of the kindergarten year. The math homework is completely aligned with the Common Core Standards.
Each assignment now includes the week number, the title and Common Core State Standards addressed. The digital file includes the week number and the title of the assignment.
Now included with the purchase is a sequence chart which indicates the suggested sequence, title, and Common Core State Standards address in each assignment.

Quarter 1: Included in this quarter are assignments about: Position and Location, Numbers Zero to Five, 2D Shapes, Comparing Sets (More, Fewer, Same), Addition and Subtraction, and Sorting.
Quarter 2: Included in this quarter are assignments about: Numbers 6-10, Comparing Numbers (0-10), Addition and Subtraction, 2 D Shapes
Quarter 3: Included in this quarter are assignments about: Teen Numbers, Addition and Subtraction, Making Ten, Decomposing Numbers, and 3D Shapes
Quarter 4: Included in this quarter are assignments about: Decomposing Numbers, Addition and Subtraction, Measurement, Teen Numbers, Counting Objects Arranged in Different Configurations, Parent Assessments
Writing
The Kindergarten Writing Weekly Homework is designed to give students practice with writing skills. There is one assignment for each week of the school year. All the activities are designed to encourage parental support with each assignment. This resource can help teachers in designing their literacy curriculum as well.
The writing homework includes assignments in the following progression:
1) Students will put together a sentence which has been cut out and then write the sentence.
2) Students will listen to a simple sentence and begin writing the beginning sounds for words in the sentence and include known sight words.
3) Students will listen to a simple sentence and write beginning and ending sounds for words in the sentence and include known sight words.
4) Students will listen to a simple sentence and write the beginning, ending, and middle sounds (and any other sounds heard) as well as known sight words in the sentence.
In each writing assignment students will practice listening for sounds and recording what they hear. In addition, they will practice a sight word.
The weekly writing homework assignments can be enhanced by the weekly alphabet homework assignments which are also available in my store.
Alphabet
The Kindergarten Weekly Alphabet Homework is designed to give students practice with alphabet skills including letter identification, letter sounds, phonemic segmentation, and writing letter-sound correspondences at various levels. There is one assignment for each week of the school year. All the activities are designed to encourage parental support with each assignment. This resource can help teachers in designing their literacy curriculum as well.
The alphabet homework includes assignments dealing with: 1) an alphabet introduction, 2) matching upper and lowercase letters, 3) beginning sound sorts, 4) ending sound sorts, 5) segmenting sound activities, 6) medial vowel sound sorts, and 7) digraphs and blends activities.
