My store is currently closed. I do not have the time to keep up with it anymore due to family and teaching obligations! I teach grades K-6 General Music. I also direct a 4-5 Musical every year. I have taught over 15 years.
Teaching style
I try to utilize both the Kodaly and Orff philosophies in my teaching. Every lesson in every grade has both a melodic and rhythmic focus with listening lessons, instruments, and many games throughout!

Undergraduate: Bachelors of Music in Music Education- Vocal Emphasis from Capital University
Masters: Masters of Music in Music Education- Kodaly Emphasis from Capital University
1 summer of study at the Kodaly Institute in Kecskemet, Hungary

I Love to teach my students and get so excited when I can see that they Love music class just as much, if not more than I do. It is a joy to go to work every day!
