Description
Looking for a simple and thoughtful way to get extra classroom supplies without the awkward ask? This Back to School Donation Tree is a fun, easy way to share your classroom wish list with families during Meet the Teacher Night or Open House.
With back-to-school season comes a long list of things we’d love to have in our classrooms, beyond the basic school supplies. While many parents are eager to support their child’s learning environment, they often don’t know exactly what’s needed. That’s where this donation tree comes in!
How it works:
Print the included apple templates, write (or type!) your most-wanted classroom items on each one, and display them on a bulletin board or tree cutout. Parents can “pick an apple” and help out with specific items you need, no guessing, no pressure!
This is the perfect low-stress way to:
- Share your classroom wish list
- Encourage optional donations in a clear and positive way
- Help parents feel connected and involved
- Get those "would-be-nice" extras that make a difference
Great for:
- Back to School Night
- Open House
- Meet the Teacher
- Classroom door displays
- Bulletin boards
Whether it's dry erase markers, extra tissues, books, or craft supplies—this system helps you ask for what you actually need, without sending home a long list.
Set the tone for a supportive classroom community right from the start!
