Celebrate being back at school with this fun math problem solving competition to get your Grade 6 - 7 students enthusiastic about Mathematics. Challenging Math word problems, involving all number operations, will have your 6th and 7th Graders using their problem solving and critical thinking skills in this action packed, team activity. It is a perfect resource for an end of year activity too as it is an opportunity for building teamwork and cooperative learning.
"Wacky Races" is a team activity where the aim is to solve as many problems as possible in the allotted time. It can be used just in your regular classroom but even better when set up in a large space, joined with another class too for more fun. In a larger space, students have to race to gather their questions so increasing the level of excitement and competition!
