BACK TO SCHOOL CLASS BOOKS --> 10 TEMPLATES INCLUDED!!
I absolutely LOVE reading Back to School stories with my students and these Class Book templates are my FAVORITE way to build our CLASSROOM COMMUNITY!!!
Class Books are the perfect addition to your classroom library. After reading the selected book, students all fill out the SAME response page. The teacher will collect the pages and tape or glue them into the Target blank books (from Target dollar spot). Add them to a special bin in your library and let your students read them to learn more about their new classmates!!
I've created 10 Class Book Templates for the following titles:
-> Chrysanthemum (Names are special & unique)
-> No, David or David Goes to School (School Rules)
-> A Bad Case of Stripes (How to avoid catching Stripes - Be Yourself)
-> First Day Jitters (Feelings on the first day of school)
-> Wemberly Worried (dealing with our worries, class tips from peers)
-> Do Unto Otters (using manners)
-> Pigeon Has to Go to School (learning something new)
-> Officer Buckle (classroom/school safety tips)
Plus TWO class books that don't require a read aloud:
-> Summer Fun (students write about their summer vacation)
-> Class Numbers Book (students write important numbers about themselves)
WHAT'S INCLUDED?? -> 10 Class Book Templates (PDF & PNG files)
- Each template comes with a Cover Page for the book!
- Different level responses included, perfect for 1st/2nd grade and Kinder with some support.
- Class Books Library Bin Sign
***Distance Learning Compatible
Templates are included as separate PNG files for you to upload to whatever platform you are using (Google Classroom, Seesaw, etc.) Have your students complete the selected page and return to you. Teachers can then print the pages and assemble the book to read virtually to your new students! Save the physical books for your classroom once you all return!
