Description

Get to know your ELA/reading students using this Reading Interest Survey Inventory at the beginning of the year, back-to-school, in small groups, or change-in-the-school-year. This Student Questionnaire for the Beginning of the Year is a great elementary resource, easy-to-use printable, and digital option for getting to know readers in the classroom, in tutorials, or in any learning environment. The survey includes questions on students' interest level in books, the types of books they like or dislike, and more.

Teachers must understand how their students feel about reading and their strengths and weaknesses to help them grow as readers during the school year. This reading interest inventory survey is a fun way to collect data on each student in your classroom.

INCLUDED INSIDE THIS PRODUCT:

  • Reading Interest Inventory Survey Trifold - Available in PRINTABLE & DIGITAL (Google Slides) option in color and B/W.
  • Additional Reading Interest Survey - Over 10 thought-provoking questions for students to ask. PRINTABLE & DIGITAL (Google Slides)- provides other questions for students.
  • Teacher inventory sheet—PRINTABLE & DIGITAL(Google Slides)—The teacher can use this sheet when listening to a student read. It can help the teacher gather additional information on the reader.

The trifold, reading survey, and teacher inventory sheet appear on the product cover and preview pages. This product is excellent for back-to-school time, when a grading period changes, or when you want to learn more about your reading student.

Good getting to know you sheet. It was a quick way to identify reluctant readers and build a rapport to help them find things they would be willing to read and buy-in with independent reading time.
