All about me math activities for the first day of school for 3rd and 4th grade made simple! Back to school math activities, math inventory, and back to school math tasks are perfect to kick off math in your classroom! This print-and-go-back-to-school math pack is just what you need to add to your lesson plans and start the year getting to know your students as mathematicians!


This pack includes fun and engaging math tasks that you can hang and display on your bulletin boards for meet-the-teacher nights, use as informal assessments, and begin having students work as real mathematicians.

So much is included, from about me math pages, problem solving tasks, and math number searches, there is something for every day of the first week of school...and beyond!

Literature connection activity is based on the book The Boy Who Loved Math written by: Deborah Helligman. This book is perfect to spark discussions on how mathematicians work!

These activities have been tested and successful in my third-grade classroom but can be used in grades 2-4 as math problem-solving tasks are differentiated.
