Description

Back to school is a special time of year for students and teachers! Want students to meet all of their classmates at the beginning of the year in an engaging way?! Use these 13 back to school math activities to team build and be engaged with math concepts! During these activities, students will learn about each other, play math games, puzzles and more!

Activities included:

  1. D-Ice Breakers: 4 versions. Students will roll dice to ask other students questions. This game can be played with groups, partners, or the whole class.
  2. 2-D Shapes: Students will be drawing and or finding shapes based on the clues given.
  3. 3-D Shapes: Students will be drawing shapes based on the clues given.
  4. Find Someone Who: 3 versions/levels. Students will be finding others to solve the math questions.
  5. Riddles: 2 versions. Students will solve the math riddles with only numbers. Upper grade and lower grade versions with a key.
  6. Money: Students will find out how much their name is worth by counting money on the game board.
  7. All About Me: Students will use numbers to answer the question about themselves.

BONUS

Math Board Game: Print out this colorful board game with spinner and game pieces. This game has a variety of level addition and subtraction equations.
