Greater than Less than Back to School Math Center to practice counting, comparison and number recognition.
Back to School Math Activities
WHAT IS INCLUDED
•Comparing 1-10 numbers - 15 boards with cute school objects.
•Number Cards
•Sign Cards - <, >, =
•4 worksheets
SUGGESTED USE
Print and laminate the mats and cards. Cut out the cards. Kids count the objects, choose the correct number and then compare and choose the correct sign. These can be used with Velcro which make them easier to show when working with groups.
For comparison boards I often use signs made out of pipe cleaners. Kids can even make the signs themselves which can be an extra fine motor practice. Or we use play dough which always make the activities so much more fun.
You can also place the mats around the room, give every child a copy of a chosen worksheet and let them complete it.
Great for center, small group or write the room math activities..
