Description

An effective strategy for building fluency in reading supported by the Science of Reading is backward blending/decoding. Often times students only pay attention to the onset of words and neglect the rime. In this set of drills readers begin with the rime and then add the onset. You will receive 5 different backward decoding slides for up to a week's worth of different backward blending of CVC words. I hope you like them and come back for more as your students become ready for blends, digraphs and more!
