This HyperDoc/WebQuest takes students through the basics of baking. Included in this are several sections with appropriate links to guide students through their learning and space for students to type in their answers. Sections are: brainstorming before beginning, different types of flour used in baking, how to properly measure flour, sifting flour, 7 common ingredients in baking, comparing and contrasting leaveners, and Celiac Disease research. This HyperDoc/WebQuest can be used as a distance learning activity or done in class as individuals, groups, or a collaborative activity. Created for high school foods or culinary arts course.
