Description

This product contains 55 task cards, each having a multiple choice question in order to solve the balanced equation. The cards are very appealing to children with a clip art of a scale that has one expression on one side of the scale. On the right side of the scale has three other expressions that are possible answer choices that can balance the scale. Students must calculate the expression that is on the scale and then find the expression that has the same sum as the expression on the scale in order to balance the scale. If the cards are laminated, students can use a dry erasable marker to circle the answer from the multiple choice. This product is beneficial for students that need additional help in balancing equations and can be used in Math Centers with their group members or during one-on-one instruction. It's also a great way to quickly assess your students.
