Learning about and practicing balanced equations has never been so fun!
This product is designed to introduce the concept using the mini-lesson, provides six problems using all four operations for whole group practice, and includes task cards for small group or independent practice. The task cards can also be used to provide additional whole group practice, if needed. There are enough cards to accommodate 20-24 students with four unnumbered ‘Take a break to check your work’ cards. The ‘break’ cards can be placed anywhere without disrupting the number sequence for 'Scoot' or don’t need to be used at all if you use for 'Walk the Room.' The answer key is included. Enjoy!
