Helping students understand the equal sign and balanced equations can be tricky business. They need plenty of practice to help them grasp it. The fun digital Google Slides™ activity is one way to do this! Included are 3 interactive activities that your first grade students will enjoy during math centers or stations.
The 3 activities are:
- 10 slides- students will drag a star with TRUE or FALSE to the box to show whether the equation is balanced or not
- 10 slides- students will drag a star to the box to indicate the correctly balanced equation
- 10 slides- students will drag the rocket number to the box to correctly balance the equation
This product should be used in the VIEW mode in google slides. The pieces are movable and they won't move if they aren't in the VIEW mode.
