Description

This product is four pages of bar graph practice and assessment. This product contains two single bar graphs with ten questions that accompany each of them. Various scales are used. Students are required interpret the information represented on the graph. Students will have to perform addition and subtraction within 100 to answer many of the questions. Students will have to make estimations and comparisons of data. I have also included a double bar graph for the students that quickly master the single bar graph or need a more challenging activity. In addition, there is an activity that allows students to poll their classmates on a topic of their choosing. They then represent the data they collect as a bar graph.

This product offers multiple opportunities to reinforce math concepts and practice reading and making bar graphs.

****PLEASE READ*****
This product is included in one of my other products titled, "Graphs and Graphing Data: Bar Graphs, Line Graphs, and Pie Charts." That product is much larger and includes additional pages of informative text, examples of various types of graphs, and additional assessment opportunities for just $5.00. Please visit my store, The Autry Experiment, to preview additional activities.

Draw a scaled picture graph and a scaled bar graph to represent a data set with several categories. Solve one- and two-step “how many more” and “how many less” problems using information presented in scaled bar graphs. For example, draw a bar graph in which each square in the bar graph might represent 5 pets.
