Baseball Errorless Learning Color Matching Activity

Help students develop color recognition, matching skills, visual discrimination, and independent work skills with this fun baseball-themed matching activity! Students match colored baseballs to the baseball gloves with the corresponding color pattern. This activity is designed to promote success and confidence while providing multiple opportunities for practice through independent work, centers, small groups, and games.

This resource includes 15 different color matches and can be used in a variety of ways to meet the needs of your students.

Ways to Use This Resource:

Independent Work
Cut out the baseball gloves and baseballs. Place the gloves in one pile and the baseballs in another pile. Students match each baseball to the glove with the corresponding color pattern.

Sensory Bin Activity
Place the baseballs in a sensory bin, bag, or container. Students select a baseball and find the matching glove.

Task Box Activity
Store the pieces in a task box or photo case for independent practice and repeated use.

Small Group Game
Pass out the baseball gloves among students. Place the baseballs face down in a pile or inside a container. Students take turns selecting a baseball. The student with the matching glove keeps the baseball. The first student to match all of their gloves wins!

Language Center
Use the activity to practice color identification, requesting, describing, turn-taking, and following directions.
