Description
When spring is in the air, I cannot help but think about BASEBALL!!! However, we still have several months of school remaining. So why not combine the two?
This file contains 2 baseball themed quadratic equations worksheets. The first one requires students to test for factorability of quadratic equations by using the discriminant. The second requires students to use the quadratic formula to solve quadratic equations. And as always, I have included both solution keys.
Together, they serve as a nice introduction to quadratics, as well as an appropriately timed baseball theme.
My students always look forward to fun worksheets. If yours do too, you might look at these:

My students loved the riddle and I loved the range problems.
Good resource!
Great resource with different levels of expectation
I used it to reinforce the quadratic formula. Students were struggling with it
awesome!
A fun way to work with quadratic equations.
Fun activity, my students enjoyed it!
I did have them change the headings to One Real Solutions, Two Real Solutions, and No Real Solutions, as we have also been doing imaginary solutions, so I wanted to clarify that for them.
Great little activity.
