This craft activity is perfect for kindergarten or first grade centers or math practice!

No prep needed!! Just print the pages for your students and it's ready to go.

Includes: Blank penguin template and math sentences page, Cut out page with eyes, beak, feet, and the fish pieces, example of complete penguin with fish, written directions.

Students will need: Scissors, something to color with, a pencil to write with.

Super fun winter activity, my first grade class loved coloring their fish and counting them up to practice simple addition!

There are a total of 15 fish, students are instructed to color anywhere from 7 to 15 of the fish with 2 different colors, cut them out, glue them to their penguin, count them up and complete an equation describing what their image shows.
