Description

3D printing is coming to your classroom! TinkerCAD is a free CAD resource that you can quickly use as a class or individual to produce simple objects for 3D printing!

Teachers can set up a class in TinkerCAD to quickly import files, and students can export files to 3D print on the schools 3D printer or at a local library.

This set of handouts covers the basic controls of TinkerCAD, as well as the advanced features and design methods for your advanced students.

This set of handouts includes dual extrusion printing, printing over fabric, and circuits. Incorporate microcomputers into your design work, including the programing and testing module for Arduino micro computers.

This file is updated to include new features (Transparent, Scribble, updated commands), as well as a mm ruler on each page to help your students understand mm measurement. In PDF format, you can also read it on your digital device.

The Easel Activity & Assessment have been updated to be easier to use.

This is part of an ongoing series of 3D printing activities that I'm developing for STEM classrooms. Please stay tuned for more 3D printing handouts and activities.

This was such a great resource to have available for students as we worked through TinkerCAD. I really liked that there were two 'levels' offered, so I was able to use it for a large age and ability range as well. Thank you for a wonderful resource!!

I have already printed on card stock, laminated and referenced them for my students. I have seen them going up to the board with their laptops to help work through their instructions on Tinkercad. I love the step by step instructions and the topics covered in the controls! Very happy with my purchase! Thank you so much! I could also see using this if/when we go distance learning. This topic is not easy to explain but this piece was very well done!

Wow, thank you! It's great to hear that this resource is so useful for you! I've created a TinkerCAD bundle as well, which has instructions for different projects that can be done with distance learning.
