Description
This quiz will assess your student's understanding of the basic anatomy of an atom, atomic number, atomic mass, basic concepts of matter, and how to determine the name of an atom by using the atomic number and a periodic table. Students will need their own copy of the periodic table in order to complete the quiz. This quiz assesses all the concepts covered in my powerpoint on atoms.

Easy for students to understand; however, the question about humans being made up of atoms actually confused some students because they were taught that humans are made up of cells.
